Draft for review · version 1.1 · 1 October 2026. These terms are being prepared for release. Visiting this page does not bring the draft into effect. World Rank, purchases and automated account deletion are not yet features of the current test build.

1. Provider and documents

EXS World Tour is provided by EXSports Oy, Finnish Business ID 2719500-4, Korkeavuorenkatu 25, 48100 Kotka, Finland. Contact: info@exsports.fi, +358 40 414 4110. Further company details: Legal notice / Impressum.

These terms cover the game and its online services when launched. The purchase terms also apply to paid content, and the World Rank rules to the leaderboard. The privacy notice explains data processing; accepting terms is not itself consent to analytics or marketing. General wording on the company information page does not override these game-specific terms or mandatory consumer rights.

2. Testing, age and guardians

The closed playtest is only for participants aged 13 or over. The full release is intended to include children, with PEGI 3 as its target content rating. The final rating and availability will be shown in the app store. A content rating does not by itself establish capacity to make purchases or give valid consent to all personal data processing.

Minors need a guardian's permission where applicable law requires it. Purchases must be properly authorised. Online account age limits and any parental approval process will be stated separately before launch. Child-friendly play in the full version does not mean that a child must create a public player account.

3. Licence to play

You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use a lawfully obtained copy of the game for its intended purpose, and purchased content as described at purchase. Intellectual property rights in the game and its assets remain with EXSports or their respective owners.

You must not resell, distribute without permission or bypass entitlement checks for paid content. Statutory rights, including lawful examination or interoperability rights, are unaffected. Accessibility aids are permitted; in public competition they must not automate play or provide an advantage prohibited by the rules.

4. Test builds and future features

A test build may contain unfinished features, and test progress or scores may be reset when the test period ends. Content offered free during testing does not confer a right to later paid content. Testers will be informed about the end of testing and material resets.

Weekly competitions, new tracks and cosmetics are development plans unless expressly included in the description of the product you buy. A development timetable is not by itself a purchase commitment. This does not reduce responsibility for binding marketing statements or promises made at purchase.

5. Online services and your content

When World Rank launches, publishing a score requires acceptance of its applicable terms. Your nickname and submitted run details will be public. You must not share your account with others. Please promptly contact support if you suspect account misuse.

You grant only the non-exclusive rights needed to store, process and display content you submit within the described service. Separate advertising use by EXSports of your nickname or run requires separately agreed permission; participation does not grant a blanket marketing licence. Others may copy public content, and EXSports cannot promise to remove copies independently retained by third parties.

6. Conduct, nicknames and restrictions

Treat other players, testers, support staff and moderators respectfully. These rules cover nicknames and content displayed in the game and its online services, and game-related communication with EXSports support and in community channels operated by EXSports, where those features are available.

6.1 Disruptive behaviour and prohibited content

  • Bullying, targeted personal abuse, repeated unwanted contact, stalking, threats and incitement to violence are prohibited.
  • Hate speech, racism, discriminatory or sexual harassment, and sexually offensive or child-inappropriate content are prohibited.
  • Unlawfully disclosing another person's personal information, impersonating another person or staff, scams and phishing are prohibited.
  • Spam, repeated message flooding, unauthorised advertising, encouraging others to harass someone, and knowingly false reports intended to harm another person are prohibited. A good-faith report is not a violation merely because the suspicion proves unfounded.
  • Deliberately overloading or disrupting the service, unauthorised access, manipulating competitive results, and evading restrictions through new accounts or someone else's account are prohibited.

Respectful criticism, negative feedback, bug reports, requests for remedies and exercising privacy rights are not disruptive behaviour. Disagreement with EXSports alone is not grounds for a restriction. Report security vulnerabilities privately to info@exsports.fi; do not exploit them to access other people's data.

6.2 Nicknames

A nickname must not contain prohibited content described above, abusive or vulgar language, sexual references, threats or messages degrading other users. It must not misrepresent identity or status, such as by pretending to be an EXSports employee, moderator or another player. Do not include your full name, contact details or another person's personal information. Unauthorised advertising and names infringing others' rights are prohibited.

The rules apply in all languages and to attempts to evade them using numbers, symbols, spacing or alternative spellings. Meaning and context are considered when assessing a nickname. EXSports may require an inappropriate nickname to be changed, hide it or replace it with a neutral name. Nickname changes may be restricted where needed to prevent abuse.

6.3 Action and review

Action is proportionate to the seriousness, repetition and impact of the violation. It may include a reminder or warning, correcting, hiding or removing content or a nickname, rejecting a score, or temporarily restricting online features. Serious or repeated violations may result in a permanent online ban or closure of the player account. A serious threat, disclosure of personal information or another situation requiring immediate protection may result in an immediate restriction without prior warning.

EXSports may end an individual threatening or abusive support conversation and direct further communication to a written channel. This does not remove the right to complain, seek remedies or exercise statutory rights. An online sanction does not by itself remove rights to separately purchased offline content or mandatory consumer rights.

Report inappropriate conduct or nicknames to info@exsports.fi with relevant details, such as the nickname, result URL and a description of what happened. The number of reports alone does not establish a violation. We explain restriction decisions, reasons and the available review route unless law or a justified security need prevents disclosure of particular information. You may request human reconsideration at the same address and provide your account of events. Statutory appeal and dispute rights remain unaffected. Also see the World Rank rules.

7. Updates and changes

We provide legally required updates and information about installing them. Online services may be changed for justified reasons, including security, preventing abuse, legal changes or technical compatibility. Changes must not remove essential agreed features of paid content without a lawful basis and applicable remedies.

Material changes to terms will be clearly notified in advance and, where required, on a durable medium. We respect any legal requirement for acceptance or right to terminate. Replacing this text alone does not retrospectively change an earlier purchase. Any closure of online services, its effects and statutory rights will be notified separately.

8. Problems, liability and disputes

We do not promise uninterrupted or fault-free service. This does not limit statutory conformity obligations, compensation or other mandatory rights. Send problem reports and remedy requests to info@exsports.fi.

Finnish law applies. Consumers retain mandatory protection in their country of residence and the right to bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Assistance is available from Finnish Consumer Advisory Services; disputes may be submitted to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board. All language versions are intended to have the same meaning; translation differences do not reduce consumer rights.
